Carnival Cruise Reviews: Voyage On The Liberty To The Caribbean

Regina is sold on cruises as her vacation of choice after a great trip on the Carnival Liberty Cruise to the Caribbean. With an easy, comfortable trip, nice size rooms, lovely pools, and exciting stops in The Bahamas and Puerto Rico, this may also turn out to be the perfect vacation for you:

For my wedding gift, my parents purchased honeymoon cruise tickets for my husband and me. We traveled on the Carnival Liberty, and our ship traveled through the Bahamas and Puerto Rico with a few days of fun at sea. Our trip began in Miami. Boarding the ship was simple; it only took about fifteen minutes to have our tickets cleared. Our bags were in our room within thirty minutes of boarding. We had a great view in our room and had a balcony with two chairs and a small table. The room itself was huge with a king size bed, a safe with a personal key, and a relatively cheap mini bar considering we were on a cruise ship. We visited the various pool areas every day, taking a swim and lying in the sun for a few minutes. There was food everywhere and available at all hours, even at two in the morning. There were numerous buffets, a formal dining room, and bars which served hot dogs and hamburgers. Any alcoholic drinks did cost extra money, but there was quite an assortment of beer and wine to choose from. There was a casino, which I visited once, but there were too many people and bets were a little high for my taste. The process of disembarking when at the Bahamas and Puerto Rico was smooth and quick, but re-boarding took some time if you had purchased items to bring onboard. We took a few tours of the mainland areas and had lunch at the local restaurants, but I recommend always reading the menu before being seated so you know the prices and the cuisine being offered. Cruising is a fantastic way to spend a vacation and it will definitely be how I vacation in the tropics from now on.
